Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: March 25, 2026
Welcome to VandiPilot. By accessing our platform and confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by the following terms of service.
1. Introduction and Agreement
By accessing or using our websites, mobile applications, or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, drivers, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Role of VandiPilot (Aggregator Status)
VandiPilot operates strictly as a technology platform connecting Customers with independent professional drivers ("Driver Partners"). VandiPilot is not a taxi service and does not own the vehicles operated.
3. User Accounts
When creating an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
- You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
- You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
- You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. Booking & Payments
Zero Advance Booking: VandiPilot does not require any advance payment to confirm a booking. Customers can book a Pilot instantly through our official platform without any upfront fees.
Fare Settlement: The total estimated trip fare will be shared with the customer at the time of booking. The final trip fare, alongside any applicable extra time charges, night allowances, or food allowances, must be paid in full directly to your assigned Pilot at the end of the journey. Payments can be made to the Pilot via Cash or UPI.
5. Cancellation Policy
Since VandiPilot operates on a zero-advance model, we currently do not charge financial cancellation fees to our customers. However, we block our Driver Partners' schedules well in advance to ensure reliable service.
Courtesy Policy: We request that you cancel your booking at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time if your plans change. Repeated last-minute cancellations or "no-shows" will result in a permanent ban from utilizing the VandiPilot platform.
6. Vehicle Compliance & Customer Obligations
The Customer is solely responsible for providing a safe, legally compliant vehicle. The Customer guarantees that the vehicle:
- Has a valid Registration Certificate (RC).
- Holds active comprehensive motor insurance.
- Possesses a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.
- Contains no illegal substances or contraband.
Right to Refuse: The Driver Partner reserves the right to refuse to drive the vehicle if it is deemed mechanically unsafe or legally non-compliant upon arrival.
7. Running Costs, Tolls & Fines
All running expenses, including fuel, toll taxes, inter-state border taxes, and parking fees, are strictly the responsibility of the Customer.
Fines & Challans: Any traffic fines incurred due to vehicle-related deficiencies (e.g., tinted glass, lack of insurance, expired PUC) are the sole liability of the Customer. Fines incurred strictly due to driver error (e.g., jumping a red light or overspeeding) will be mediated by VandiPilot for deduction from the Driver’s payout.
8. Zero Liability & Indemnification
While VandiPilot conducts verifications on all Driver Partners, the Customer hands over the keys at their own discretion. VandiPilot shall bear zero financial or legal liability for:
- Any physical damage, scratches, or total loss of the Customer’s vehicle during the trip.
- Any accidents resulting in third-party property damage or personal injury.
- Any theft, loss of personal belongings left in the car, or indirect losses (e.g., missed flights or appointments).
In the event of an accident, the damages must be claimed through the Customer’s own comprehensive vehicle insurance policy. Under any circumstances or disputes, VandiPilot assumes zero financial liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the trip.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
